The traditional passage time measurements are still possible if preferred for pedagogical reasons. The display divides into two parts giving you immediate access to all results. An adjacent status area shows when light rays are blocked, the state of external inputs etc. SpeedGate is battery powered – used on its own, no cables are needed. If preferred, SpeedGates can be powered through a USB cable. When used together, SpeedGates are connected with the included flat cable. SpeedGate is operated with three pushbuttons controlling resp. primary mode, secondary mode and reset. The reset button also functions as a power switch.
